They took to social media to celebrate with family and friends. “Today my wife and I successfully defended our doctorate in the Department of Anatomy at the University of Nigeria College of Medicine,” revealed Dr. Oviosun in a beautifully written social media letter.

He also revealed that the achievement that many are celebrating with them today is the result of years of effort. “It’s been a very long journey that started almost 5 years ago, in the middle of which we got married and had our son,” he added.

The couple Acknowledges the fact that the journey hasn’t gone entirely smoothly. “Challenging and daring like a couple’s big dream in pursuit of a PhD, we overcame it.
