The FIFA Club World Cup trophy has touched down in Cairo, Egypt, marking another milestone on its global tourahead of the much-anticipated tournament set to kick off in June.

Egyptian giants Al Ahly, one of the 32 clubs competing in the tournament, had the honor of welcoming the prestigious trophy, adding to the excitement as they prepare for their opening match against Inter Miami.FIFA club world cup

Marcel Koller, head coach of Al Ahly, acknowledged the challenge ahead, particularly the prospect of facing Inter Miami, a club with strong backing from American fans.

“It will basically be an away game for us, as most of America will probably be supporting Inter Miami. But I’m looking forward to it. I think our players are too, and they will all give everything to try and get something out of this match.”

Al Ahly, a dominant force in African club football, has enjoyed significant success in international competitions and will be aiming for a strong start when they take on the MLS sidein the tournament.
