Renowned American hip-hop artist, Kanye West, has sent waves of excitement through African music fans with hints of potential tour stops in Lagos, Nigeria, and Nairobi, Kenya.

The Grammy-winning rapper shared the tantalizing news via his Instagram story on Wednesday, revealing a snapshot of a conversation outlining his tour schedule for 2024 and 2025.

According to the screenshot, Kanye’s tour itinerary includes a performance at Eko Energy City in Lagos, Nigeria, slated for December 14, 2024, followed by a show at Nyayo International Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya, scheduled for December 7, 2024.

The tour is set to kick off in Toronto, Canada on June 22, 2024, and traverse across the United States until August, with a subsequent stop in Mexico.
