Kellyrae Crowned Winner of BBNaija Season 9 ‘No Loose Guard’ Edition

Kellyrae has officially emerged as the winner of the ninth season of Big Brother Naija, themed ‘No Loose Guard.’ After weeks of intense competition, Kellyrae secured his place at the top, beating fellow housemates Wanni, who finished in second place, and Onyeka, who came third.

As the champion of this season, Kellyrae walks away with a grand prize valued at N100 million, which includes a cash award of N60 million and a brand-new car worth N40 million. His victory marks the culmination of a season filled with suspense, drama, and memorable moments, captivating millions of viewers across Africa.

The journey to the top wasn’t without its personal challenges. Kellyrae entered the house alongside his wife, Kassia, who was evicted just before the final week. Despite her early exit, Kellyrae continued to play the game with strategy and resilience, ultimately leading him to claim the coveted prize.

Big Brother Naija has continued to gain popularity since its first edition in 2006, which was won by Katung Aduwak. Over the years, the show has produced many memorable winners. Season 2, known as the ‘See Gobe’ edition, saw Efe Ejeba take home the top prize, while Miracle secured victory in Season 3’s ‘Double Wahala’ edition in 2018.

Mercy Eke made history in 2019 by becoming the first female winner of the show, while Laycon captured hearts and took home the prize in 2020’s Season 5. In 2021, Whitemoney was crowned the winner of Season 6, and Phyna made waves in 2022 as the champion of Season 7. Most recently, Ilebaye Odiniya claimed the prize in 2023’s Season 8, solidifying BBNaija’s reputation for creating stars and shaping the pop culture landscape.

Kellyrae’s victory adds to the legacy of Big Brother Naija, and with a lucrative prize in hand, the future looks bright for this season’s newest star.
