Controversy Erupts as Kenyan Law Maker Gets Charged with Forging University Certificates

Kenyan Member of Parliament George Koimburi is facing criminal charges over allegations that he forged academic certificates, the public prosecutor has confirmed. The Juja constituency lawmaker appeared in court on Wednesday, where he was formally charged with six counts related to falsifying documents.

According to the prosecution, Koimburi is accused of forging his high school certificate along with two certificates of participation from a university within his constituency. He has denied all charges and was granted release on cash bail.Kenyan MP
