Koulibaly, the former Napoli defender who recently joined Chelsea, made a significant gesture by returning to his parents’ homeland in Senegal to fulfill a promise he made long ago.
Accompanied by the Capitaine du Coeur Association, which his wife Charline is also involved in, Koulibaly arrived in Ngano, a village in northeastern Senegal. It was an emotional day for the citizens of the village, as Koulibaly symbolically laid the first stone for the construction of a pediatric clinic.
With his two brothers, communication manager, and the volunteers of the Association led by Aliou Goloko, Koulibaly demonstrated his strong connection to his roots.
