Mr Eazi, a Nigerian musician and entrepreneur, has fulfilled his promise to award educational grants to deserving students at CKT-UTAS, a university in Navrongo in Ghana’s Upper East Region.
The scholarship fund has so far supported 282 students with full or partial scholarships. Dr V.A. Ankamah-Lomotey, the Registrar at the university, confirmed the news in a letter expressing gratitude for Mr Eazi’s commitment to promoting higher education and improving economic mobility in the region.
Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, is a popular Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He rose to prominence in 2016 with his hit song “Skin Tight” and has since become known for his fusion of Afrobeat and Ghanaian highlife music.

Mr Eazi hopes to fund the education of 1,000 students and believes that education is the foundation of regional transformation and social mobility.
His contribution to CKT-UTAS has made a significant impact on the beneficiaries’ lives, many of whom may have lacked the financial resources to pursue higher education.
His philanthropic efforts serve as a model for others to invest in education and provide opportunities for the next generation.
In addition to his music career, Mr Eazi is also a successful businessman and the founder of emPawa Africa, a music incubator program that provides financial support and mentorship to emerging African artists.
