American sprint sensation Noah Lyles has officially taken his relationship with Jamaican sprinter Junelle Bromfield to the next level by proposing in a heartwarming video that has quickly gone viral. The clip, which Lyles shared across his social media platforms, captures an intimate and memorable moment that has drawn global attention.

In the video, Lyles is seen kneeling inside a massive heart made of rose petals, with the phrase “Will You Marry Me?” beautifully displayed nearby. Bromfield, looking radiant in a shimmering silver gown, was visibly moved and wasted no time in saying yes, showing off her new engagement ring as Lyles remained on one knee. The touching scene is accompanied by a heartfelt caption from Lyles: “To My Future Wife, I Will Love You Forever.”

The couple, who began dating in the summer of 2022, have shown how love can thrive even amid the pressures of elite competition. Both athletes have enjoyed successful careers on the track, but they’ve also demonstrated the importance of supporting each other behind the scenes.

Lyles, who claimed victory in the men’s 100m final at the 2024 Paris Olympics, recalled a sweet memory from those Games in a recent ESPN interview. After his win, Lyles found himself making a late-night trip to Bromfield’s hotel room to return a pair of spikes she had forgotten. “So here I am at 2 a.m., waddling with a spike bag, my bag, and some toiletries, and I’m like, ‘Huh. Here I am, Olympic champion, 100 meters, waddling to my girlfriend’s room with all this stuff,’” Lyles shared, laughing. “I’m a good boyfriend.”

While Lyles celebrated his gold medal in Paris, Bromfield competed in multiple events for Jamaica, including the women’s 400m, the 4x400m relay, and the mixed 4x400m relay. Though she didn’t medal in her individual races, Bromfield remains an accomplished athlete, having previously earned a bronze medal as part of Jamaica’s 4x100m relay team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The couple has faced challenges along the way, including cyberbullying directed at Bromfield. Critics took aim after Lyles revealed that Bromfield occasionally shared insights into Jamaican track and field training. However, Lyles stood by her, especially after she faced scrutiny for her performances at the Paris Olympics. Despite these obstacles, the couple’s bond has grown stronger, and their recent engagement highlights their commitment to each other.

The proposal has received an outpouring of support from fellow athletes and fans worldwide, as Lyles and Bromfield prepare for the next chapter of their lives together. As they look forward to their future both on and off the track, their love story continues to inspire those around them.
