The Mastercard Start Path Global Programme was created in an attempt to help later-stage startups become even better and scale through challenges that often cause an unfortunate breakdown of their ideas. Fortunately, in its attempt to provide help to several start-ups across Africa, it has recently selected NowNow Digital Systems to participate in its yearly program. NowNow digital is among the eight and the only African start-up that was selected by Mastercard in its latest Start Path class.
The program has proven useful to start-ups in Africa, providing them with the necessary tools and information that they require to scale through the “Tech Space and its challenges.” Selected startups like NowNow Digital Systems would be provided with opportunities to co-innovate with experts from around the world and also reach a global customer base.
The program has been quite useful over time; organized and championed by Mastercard, the Mastercard Start Path has become a useful tool for many start-ups across Africa with several awards to prove just how efficient its advocacy for local start-ups has become.
The Mastercard Developers portfolio offers fintech innovators the services and tools they need to iterate at each stage of their journey, transform daring ideas, and expand quickly so that more people can benefit from the digital economy. Mastercard will provide operational support, commercial involvement, and the chance for strategic investment through Start Path. NowNow, which seeks to provide best-in-class financial services in Nigeria and Africa, would benefit from the chance to work with other innovative businesses from around the world.
Expressing his appreciation, the Chief Executive Officer, NowNow Digital Systems, located in Lagos, said, “It is a pleasure to be recognized as an emerging leader in the fintech sector, and our participation in the Mastercard Start Path engagement program reinforces our commitment to enabling innovative financial solutions.”
Mastercard customizes training programs for each Start Path member and gives them access to its product teams, clients, and channels to help them maximize the value of the Mastercard network. Mastercard has mentored and supported approximately 300 businesses worldwide since launching Start Path in 2014. The next Start Path cohort will address challenges and seize opportunities throughout Mastercard’s ecosystem, including digital transformation, biometrics, cybersecurity, small business, open banking, and more.
NowNow Digital Systems Limited provides small and medium-sized enterprises, agencies, and consumers with dependable, best-in-class financial services technology in order to empower their customers financially.
