Senegalese football star Sadio Mane has become a father for the first time, welcoming a baby girl with his wife, Aisha Tamba. The Al-Nassr forward marked the special occasion in style, dedicating his latest goal to his newborn daughter during a league match on Thursday.
Mane, who married 19-year-old Tamba in January 2024, celebrated his goal in Al-Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Al-Kholood with a heartwarming cradle-rocking gesture. The emotional tribute came after Cristiano Ronaldo had set the tone with an early fourth-minute strike. Mane then doubled the lead in the 26th minute before Jhon Duran added a third just before halftime, securing a comfortable win for the Saudi side.

The 32-year-old winger, known for his humility on and off the pitch, previously shared his thoughts on fatherhood in an interview earlier this year. Reflecting on his hopes for family life, Mane expressed his wish for “three or four” children but acknowledged that destiny ultimately lies in God’s hands.
Despite a challenging season in front of goal, with just seven league goals in 25 appearances and a total of nine across all competitions, Mane has remained an influential presence for Al-Nassr, providing 10 assists. However, the team faces an uphill battle in their title chase, currently sitting third in the Saudi Pro League, trailing leaders Al-Ittihad by 10 points.
Mane’s recent performance, coupled with his personal milestone, serves as a reminder of his enduring passion for the game and his growing responsibilities off the field.
