T.I. and Tiny Harris have responded to Sabrina Peterson’s dismissed harassment claim by filing a counterclaim against her. According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, the couple is seeking over $164,000 in legal fees from Peterson. Their lawyer argues that the requested amount is reasonable given the complexity of the legal issues and the time spent on the case. The court has not yet made a ruling on their request.

T.I. and Tiny Harris File Counterclaim Demanding $165K from Accuser After Lawsuit Dismissal

The ongoing legal battle between T.I., Tiny Harris, and Sabrina Peterson began in 2021 when Peterson accused T.I. of various physical and sexual assaults. Peterson, who was presumed to be a friend of Tiny Harris at the time, initially made her claims on Instagram, stating that T.I. had once pointed a gun at her head while her children were present. She later explained that the incident occurred because she was defending Tiny from mistreatment by T.I.’s former female assistant.

Peterson also brought attention to other women’s allegations of sexual assault against the couple. T.I. and Tiny denied these accusations on social media. In June, the couple achieved a minor victory when an appeals court dismissed several claims in Peterson’s lawsuit, including trade libel, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and intentional and negligent interference with prospective economic advantage.

T.I. and Tiny promptly filed a motion to dismiss Peterson’s lawsuit based on California’s anti-SLAPP law, which protects free speech. Initially denied, their motion was later granted by the appeals court. T.I. and Tiny’s attorney, Andrew B. Brettler, expressed satisfaction with the decision and expressed confidence in clearing his clients of Peterson’s defamation and false light invasion of privacy claims. The litigation is still ongoing, and the court has yet to rule on the couple’s request for legal fees.
