Trevor Noah, the renowned comedian and former host of “The Daily Show,” has emerged as the internet’s favorite “Personality/Host” by clinching the esteemed Webby Award.
Noah secured the honor in the category of Best Web Personality/Host for his popular segment, “Between the Scenes,” featured on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.”
This is the second time Noah has triumphed in this category, having previously won in 2020. In addition to his individual accolade, “The Daily Show” also claimed six other awards at the event.

Notably, Noah’s comedy segment titled “America’s Door Problem,” where he advocated for gun control and critiqued policymakers’ response to mass shootings, received recognition.

The star-studded in-person event occurred on May 15 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, with Roy Wood Jr., the correspondent for “The Daily Show,” hosting for the second time.

The list of Webby winners included notable names such as singers Rihanna, Lizzo, and Doja Cat, former President Barack Obama, and the cast of Marvel’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
Reacting to the wins, a surprised Trevor Noah took to his Instagram Stories to express his gratitude, commenting, “Wow! Such an honor. Thank you!” These victories further solidify Noah’s status as a beloved internet personality and highlight his enduring impact on the digital landscape.
