Somalia has a new queen, and her name is Zainab Jama. The 23-year-old, who holds a degree in aviation, was officially crowned Miss World Somalia 2025, a title that not only celebrates her beauty but also recognizes her dedication to humanitarian work and social impact.
Jama’s journey to the crown was not an easy one. In an emotional moment after her victory, she shared a heartfelt message aimed at young Somali girls who dare to dream big:
“Sleepless nights, countless sacrifices—but every moment was worth it. The journey was tough, but the mission is greater. I stand for unity, peace, and hope, so this is for all the little Somali girls with dreams and hope.”
