Grammy award winner Burna Boy will perform at the UEFA Champions League final in Istanbul.

This was revealed in a tweet on the official UEFA Champions League site on Thursday.

The songwriter will be collaborating with fellow music stars to perform for Pepsi at the highly anticipated 2023 UEFA Champions League final on June 10.

Burna boy, who has stamped himself as a legend and a global performer will be taking the beauty of Afrobeats clearly displayed in his hit song, ‘Last Last,’ to the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul under the applause of millions of fans around the world.

Recall that Burna Boy was among three Nigerian music stars who performed an Afrobeats-themed halftime show at the 2023 NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 27, 2023.

Stars stood out at Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City, Utah, from basketball legends LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo to Nigerian music giants Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema.

The trio performed an Afrobeat-filled halftime show, suggesting the genre’s global rise will continue into 2023.

Grammy winner Burna Boy was the first to introduce himself, telling the audience, “I’m about to take you on a trip across Africa without even boarding a plane.”
