Chris Brown Reportedly Owes $4 Million In Back Taxes
Reportedly, Chris Brown owes nearly $4 million in taxes and has been hit with federal and state tax liens in the United States.
According to TMZ, the 33-year-old star was recently charged with two federal tax liens due in 2022, one valued at $2,245,561.50 and the other at $1,059,967.78.
In addition to federal tax liens, Breezy is also dependent on a large sum from the state of California, which states that he owes $739,067.48, which would put his total tax bill at around $4 million.
Although the singer will have to settle his affairs withthe government at some point, the news doesn’t seem to bother him too much as he recently revealed that he should have a department store at his home to store his massive wardrobe.
In a clip posted to social media on Wednesday (January 25), the singer showed off his clothing collection as he challenged his fellow musicians and celebrity friends to see if they had more items in their closets.
Brown is currently preparing to take his show overseas on the European leg of the Under The Influence Tour, which kicks off February 11 in Dublin and will take in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Paris, Zurich, Oberhausen, Berlin, and Brussels with visits to Munich and Amsterdam before concluding with a return to Manchester on March 9.

Brown looks forward to capitalizing on an important 2022 in which he achieved several milestones in his career.
In June he released his tenth studio album, Breezy, which peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and featured guest appearances from Wizkid, Lil Wayne, Anderson Paak, Lil Baby, H.E.R., Jack Harlow, and more.
The Virginia native also made music history after surpassing Elvis Presley for most gold records of all time and becoming the most decorated singer in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 last year with more than 100 chart entries.
