Actor Jonathan Majors’ girlfriend, who called the police after he allegedly hit and choked her, has admitted she takes the blame and doesn’t want to press charges against the Marvel star.
Attorney Priya Chaudhry, who said she has evidence proving Majors’ innocence, shared texts his anonymous girlfriend sent to Majors after his arrest on Saturday.
“Please let me know you’re okay when you get this,” she wrote in texts provided to TMZ. “They assured me that you won’t be charged.
“They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight,” she continued. “I’m so angry that they did. And I’m sorry you’re in this position.”

“Will make sure nothing happens about this. I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone.”
She also texts, “I love you” — and after more than three hours pass without a response from Majors, 33, she assures him that she told police the fight between them “was not an attack.”
Chaudhry has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing by her client and said her legal team hopes all charges will be dropped soon.
In a statement about Majors’ arrest, the attorney said she is presenting evidence to the Manhattan Attorney’s Office to exonerate her client.
Majors was arrested at a Chelsea apartment near West 22nd Street and Eighth Street after officers responded to an 911 call.
The Emmy-nominated actor got into an argument with his girlfriend while taking a cab home from a Brooklyn bar, where she allegedly confronted him when she found another woman texting him, according to TMZ.
