“I’m married,” Afrobeats Singer, Davido Confirms Marriage With Chioma

Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has confirmed his marriage to partner Chioma Rowland.

Davido, who revealed in an interview withmedia personality Kiekie on Thursday, also opened up about his long hiatus from music and his new project Timeless.

The singer took a break from social media following the death of his son Ifeanyi.

He said, “I have had a lot to think about, time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time. Time to make music again.

“Before I went on break, I actually had an album ready. I had it all ready, but we redid the album. I travelled, I am married. A lot of different things, but we are ready to get back on the road.”

Recall that on November 1, the internet erupted when the death of the singer’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke was reported. According to reports the baby boy drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s home on Banana Island, Lagos state.

The death of the singer’s son was followed by a quiet marriage ceremony, where he married his long-time lover and mother of his deceased son, Chioma.
