American hip-hop star Soulja Boy has allegedly issued death threats to Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid.

The rapper said he would attack Wizkid over a comparison issue raised by fans on the microblogging platform, Twitter.

It all started when a group of Wizkid fans reacted to Soulja’s post where he attacked the Esence crooner  for a comment he made 13 years ago.

In May 2010, Wizkid took to his Twitter account where he made a controversial comment about Soulja Boy, saying, “I swear Soulja Boy is wack! Jeeeezzzzz.”

Soulja Boy, who was teased with the comment, ranted and attacked Wizkid on the social media service.

In a series of now-deleted tweets, the rapper used several colorful words in describing wizkid including threatening to beat the singer up.

On a different note, Rolling Loud Festival is expanding into Germany, and its first iteration in the country will begin this summer.

The festival will take place from July 7th to 9th at Messe Munich and will be headlined by Wizkid, Kendrick Lamar, and Travis Scott.

Wizkid will be headlining on July 7th followed by performances from Kodak Black, Lil Uzi Vert, Soulja Boy, Fireboy DML, Lakeyah, Mariah the Scientist and more.

As reported, Soulja Boy was unhappy with this situation, especially as he was teased about it’s by Wizkid fans. In response, he delivered a threat, where he claimed he “we gon kill that nigga.”
