Her growing influence has seen her perform on iconic stages like DC-10, fabric, and Hï Ibiza, introducing global audiences to her African-inspired sound. Beyond her music, DESIREE is also a proud advocate for the intersex community, using her platform to inspire and educate others about her experiences.
“A truly groundbreaking artist, DESIREE is already leaving an unforgettable legacy,” Nightlife International said.
Golden Moon Awards: A Celebration of Global Nightlife
The Golden Moon Awards annually recognize the top 100 clubs worldwide and celebrate key contributors to the nightlife industry. This year’s ceremony was scheduled for November 20 but was canceled as a gesture of solidarity with those affected by the devastating DANA storm in Valencia, Spain. Instead, winners were announced via social media.
This recognition solidifies South Africa’s place on the global music map, with both Black Coffee and DESIREE showcasing the country’s talent and cultural richness to the world.
