Chris Brown Unseats Elvis Presley As Male Singer with Most Gold-Certified Singles

Chris Brown has made history by unseating Elvis Presley as the male singer with the most gold-certified singles.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) recently announced that Brown has earned his 47th gold-certified single, surpassing Presley’s 46.

Brown’s single, “No Guidance” featuring Drake, was certified gold on August 8th with his recent smash hit single, “Call me everyday,” featuring Afrobeat star, Wizkid, going Gold in the first few months after its release.

Brown has been a major force in the music industry since his debut in 2005. He has released nine studio albums, four collaborative albums, and over 100 singles. His music has earned him numerous awards, including a Grammy, 15 BET Awards, and 12 American Music Awards.

Brown’s success is a testament to his hard work and dedication to his craft. He has been able to stay relevant in the music industry for over a decade, and his latest accomplishment is a testament to that.

Presley’s record had stood for over 60 years, and Brown’s achievement is a testament to the longevity of his career. He is the first artist to surpass Presley’s record since the RIAA began tracking gold and platinum certifications in 1958.
