Limpopo police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, confirmed that the bodies of the two women were found in an advanced state of decomposition. “The women, aged 45 and 35, had sustained gunshot wounds and were left in a pig enclosure where the animals had already begun feeding on them,” said Ledwaba. “A third victim, a 47-year-old foreign man who was with them, also sustained gunshot wounds but survived and is currently hospitalized.”
The search for the missing woman led authorities to the farm, where the horrifying discovery was made. A witness reported that the bodies were badly decomposed, with some of their intestines visible, a clear sign that they had been in the pigsty for some time. According to the witness, it appeared the bodies were dumped in an enclosure housing around 50 pigs.
