Miss Namibia 2022 took place on Friday 12th August at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino where Windhoek’s Cassia Sharpley was crowned the new Queen.
She will represent Namibia at Miss Universe 2022 or Miss World 2022 to be held later this year.
Cassia is a Basic Life Support Paramedic and a student at Namibia University of Science and Technology pursuing a degree in Emergency Medicine (Advanced Life Support).
Cassia, a proponent of ending poverty, established the Honey Comb Haven Foundation to aid the less fortunate people in her neighborhood.

Also in the final, 26-year-old Leoné Van Jaarsveld from Swakopmund was classified as first runner-up, while 23-year-old Diana Andimba from Windhoek finished second.
Former Namibian Miss Universe Michelle McLean hosted the event with Namibian actor Adriano Visagie. Miss Namibia 2021 Chelsi Shikongo crowned her successor at the end of the event final.
Sharpley is expected to represent Namibia at Miss Universe 2022. The winner can choose which pageant she wants to participate in, while the runner-up can represent Namibia in whichever pageant the winner does not wish to participate in. Happy birthday to the newly crowned queen.
