Kylian Mbappé is officially a Real Madrid player. Real Madrid announced on Monday that they have secured a deal with the French star for the next five seasons, uniting one of the world’s top soccer talents with its most decorated club.
This move comes after years of speculation and interest from Madrid in the player who has been hailed as one of the best in the game following Lionel Messi.

The 25-year-old World Cup winner with France joins an already talent-rich Madrid squad, fresh off their latest European triumph. Just two days ago, Madrid clinched their record-extending 15th European Cup title by defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the Champions League final in London.
Mbappé has previously only played for French clubs, starting with Monaco and spending the past seven seasons at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). He left PSG as a free agent after the club failed to convince him to renew his contract.
In 2021, Real Madrid had a bid of 180 million euros for Mbappé rejected by PSG — the same amount PSG had paid Monaco for a young Mbappé years earlier.
