Popular Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, commonly known as Teni, gave one of her former teachers at Apata Memorial High School in Ikeja, Lagos State, a Lexus car to celebrate Teachers Day 2022.
This was announced on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, via a Facebook post by one of the teachers at the singer’s late father’s school.
Sharing photos and video of Teni’s car presentation, the teacher wrote: “And Teni surprised one of our teachers today with a Lexus car.
“Mr. Ofudje taught Teni, he was her best teacher at the time and she came back to appreciate him.
“Worker Mr. Ofudje, we celebrate you, sir. Congratulations Mr Ofudje, well deserved.”

Recall that a few months ago, Teni teased fans with wedding videos of herself.
The Uyo Meyo singer took to her Instagram Stories where she shared photos of herself in a white wedding dress.
In the video, Teni also showed the camera a stunning engagement ring on her manicured fingers.
Below the photo, she wrote “I can’t take this anymore” with a bridal emoji.
The aforementioned video left many of her fans wondering if the singer is actually getting married or promoting her new single titled ‘Little’.
Twitter influencer Omotara Akanni @_theladymo argued that the video was from a skit, writing, “Na sketch abeg. I’m in love with this woman,” she wrote on Twitter.
Another Twitter user @bigdrakerr asked: “Wait, is Teni getting married or shooting a video?
“I want to take her seriously but omo Teni is a very dishonest person,” tweeted @Tominsinfoluwa.
@Funaya_ congratulated the singer and said, “Teni is getting married, I’m so happy for her, she’s so beautiful.”
