A Judge on Tuesday ordered Tyrese Gibson to pay child support of nearly $250,000 to his ex-wife Samantha Lee Gibson.
The 44-year-old singer and actor was also ordered to pay her attorneys nearly $400,000 during a Fulton County court hearing in Atlanta, according to a TMZ article.
Gibson took to social media on Monday to criticize Judge Kevin Farmer in a grainy selfie video in which he revealed he had unsuccessfully tried to get the judge out of his family’s court case.
He called for a “peaceful protest” outside the courthouse, appealing to his 16.6 million followers in the video posted to his Instagram. However, the protest which is against parental prejudice in the family court system appeared to have failed to materialize.
Farmer instructed the Fast & Furious franchise star last August to pay Samantha $10,690 a month in child support on behalf of her four-year-old daughter Soraya.

Gibson refused to pay because he felt the judge who publicly berated him when he testified on the witness stand was “racist” and biased against him.
Farmer rebuked Gibson for refusing to plead contempt of court.
Gibson could have been arrested, but the judge allowed him to stay free.
He was ordered to pay Soraya $237,944 in child support and $399,000 in legal fees to Samantha. Gibson also had to pay $17,000 to a private master appointed by the judge to handle disputes during the case.
Samantha’s attorney, Adam Gleklen, said Samantha wants to co-parent Soraya with her father, Tyrese, obey court orders, and move forward amicably.
Farmer threatened to hold Gibson in contempt of court last August after Samantha’s attorney noted that he made more than $2 million in 2018 after claiming to be in financial ruin at the time.
