Asserting that religious groups unanimously oppose LGBTQI+ practices, Andrews urged President Akufo-Addo to heed the people’s demand and enact the bill without hesitation.

“We don’t have to allow foreigners to blackmail us into accepting something evil as a means to depopulate us,” Andrews declared during the interview, emphasizing the necessity of resisting external pressures that contradict Ghanaian societal norms and values.

GhanaThe threat comes amidst heightened debates surrounding the anti-gay bill, which imposes strict penalties on individuals identifying as LGBTQ+ and those supporting LGBTQ+ groups.
