Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has regained his properties after several items were stolen from a house he owned in Egypt on March 2.
According to Reuters, Egyptian police said Wednesday they had found several stolen items, including a silver medal, trainers, and television receivers.
Police did not name Salah, but a security source confirmed to Reuters that the 30-year-old footballer was the victim of the robbery.
Reuters stated that the silver medal came from the Africa Cup of Nations. Salah played in the Egypt national team in 2017 and 2021, which they lost in the final.
A statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Interior (news agency h/t) also shows that a small crystal ball was also stolen. The theft took place while Salah was out of the country.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of theft, although the AP noted it’s unclear if both were officially charged with a crime at the time.
According to the Associated Press, authorities said the two suspects confessed to entering Salah’s property by climbing over a back wall. Authorities were informed of the raid by Salah’s agents on Sunday, and the arrest followed two days later.
The ministry statement revealed that one of the suspects had previously worked as a security guard in the Salah district and knew his house was empty at the time of the theft.
Liverpool played a Premier League game against Wolverhampton at Anfield on 1 March. Salah scored one goal in a 2-0 win. He became the Reds’ all-time top scorer in Premier League games when he scored his 129th career goal in a 7-0 win over Manchester United on March 5.
Salah is expected to return to Egypt next week when the national team takes on Malawi in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on March 24 and plays home and away on March 28.
